"Sport" - consisting of 1 lap Run / 1 lap Bike or "Expert" consisting of 1 lap Run/ 1 Lap Bike / 1 Lap Run / 1 Lap Bike Expert Race will Start at 12 Noon 1 Run Lap will be 4.3km (~150m climb) and should take between 20 & 45 mins Run Lap route profile HERE
Bike lap route profile Here All laps are chip recorded by Red Tag Timing Mountain bikes will be required and helmets must be worn Cost to enter race on-line is €35 There are no additional on-line entry charges or 1 day/ annual race license requirement for these events and club/ group discounts are available. The course was challenging and with heavy overnight rain the terrain proved muddy but general concensus was that it was a great course and setting Winner in the Sport race was The A Team's Stuart Montgomery in a diving finish just ahead of the fastest biker Cathal De Barra (Both 1:04:23) with Eamon Lenihan (1:07:11) in third just 2 seconds ahead of the unlucky fastest runner Anthony Boyle who only lost out on third place when missing the final turn for the finish transition. Wicklow Tri's Deborah Meehan (1:13:56) proved stongest sport class lady ahead of Nessa Smyth (1:17:29) and Ciara Mulvey (1:18:57).
